This place was great. Coming from the Midwest and needing some delicious food, this hit all of what we wanted! Can you please have a 2nd location in Iowa???

I literally up the second I saw a banana shake my fave! Everyone is nicee and pleasant feeling like I'm among family. The spot looks and feels like I walked into a Salvador spot with their paintings on the wall. And let's talk about the food comes made to order and Soo delicious. Don't sleep on the pupusas they are authentic to Salvador. I sat at the bar and I legit heard them making my tortillas! You can't get better than that. Happy as a clam and you must try this little gem out.

Wonderful hidden-gem breakfast place. Great value! And the Pupusas are the best. For 1.99! Also soups and Salvadorean dishes.

After a long day at a retreat in Homestead my girlfriends and I decided to have some authentic "fill in the blank" food while in the area... BBQ, Mexican, Cuban, well hello there Salvadorian Cuisine! I have missed having some good pupusa so that's what I went for! This is definitively a diamond in the rough that you must visit coming in or out of the Keys or if in the area. We ordered so much because we were starving & had enough to take home for a few days after of leftovers! Their Queso Frito is a home run hit that you should get as an appetizer. Had a bite of their chicken tostada which was delicious & fresh! Their sweet corn tamale reminded me of my country's own version. So it was a bit of a nostalgic moment in which I placed an order of 2 to go for the week! Their pupusas were hearty & worth every single savory penny! Their "repollo" is always a nice pairing with the dishes. I did order for the main meal (if we even needed one after all that) their beef broth soup (caldo de res). It came w/seasoned yellow rice (cooked in chicken broth). My other GF ordered their typical plate & it was more than fulfilling for the price - steak, sausage, egg, rice, sweet plantains, refried beans = OH MY! To wash it all down I had their maracuya juice (freshly made passion fruit juice). Another nostalgic taste from my country. I was in pure foodie heaven! I cannot wait to check them out again when in the area! Not often but it will sure be my go to spot.

I was in Homestead this past weekend, starving, i could not help myself but to over indulge in deliciousness at this little hole in the wall gem of a place! To get started- an appetizer sampler, filler with variety of snacks, my favorite was queso frito. I ordered a Chicken tostada- the best ever, loved it! I also ordered a pupusa with cheese and chorizo, I did not get to finish it, I ended up having it for breakfast the next day, it was perfect after a couple of minutes in the air-fry (it was sort of like a quesadilla, it was so good). My main course was the 'caldo de res' which i absolutely loved, it had lots of beef, yuca, and so flavorful, it came with a side of white rice, but it was white rice probably cooked in chicken broth, very flavorful. No room for dessert, but I will definitely visit again for caldo de res. Very affordable place. Dinner & drinks for 4 adults was $98.00 Incredible.
